Asunto Cultura paisa y Cultura afro

Afro-Colombian culture
The black population of Colombia, also known as Afro, is made up of descendants of enslaved Africans brought to America from the time of the conquest in the sixteenth century. His arrival occurs in the context of global capitalist development, when theEuropean colonization wave introduced slave labor in the Americas for the developmentof productive activities linked to the exploitation of raw materials like cotton, rice, sugar, snuff, and others. They entered our country as part of the slave for Cartagena de Indias,as contraband came from the Pacific coast of Buenaventura, Charambirá and Gorgon,or the Atlantic coast of Riohacha, Santa Marta, Tolu and Darien.

Paisa culture
While the word "country" is a shortened form of "Paisano" in Colombia this word definesone of its sub-cultural groups of people: the Colombians from the departments ofAntioquia, Risaralda, Caldas, Quindio, northern Valle del Cauca and north of Tolima.

The countries within the national cultural context, forms part of the identity of Colombiaalong with the other 4 regional human groups (there are 5 in total), giving the country avariety of manifestations and forms of it.

A feature of the country is the use of the pronoun with its own conjugations you instead ofyou.

Paisa Region of Colombia can be considered as one sector of the national territoryinhabited by a very characteristic mass of people everywhere distinguishable (seepaisa).

Essentially, a true paisa has a productive and proactive spirit, thrifty, enterprising andrestless. It is also very attached to their land and culture, very regional, but the time forexploration is bold and innovative, irreverent when it comes to inventing, and dissident.

The country loves much freedom, a concept emblem of one of his hymns departments, the resounding anthem of Antioquia.
