Paisa Region is a term that defines a Colombian local cultural and geographical area of the Republic of Colombia. This area is comprised mostly of the department of Antioquia, and the departments of Caldas, Risaralda and Quindio, which separated from its parent Antioquia historical issues, and which covers an area of approximately 77,485 km ²
